Burned Out Headlight Leads Police To Stolen Vehicle

Stearns County Jail

ST. CLOUD — A burned out headlight led to the arrest of two men in connection with a stolen vehicle from Little Falls last night (Wednesday).

The St. Cloud Police Department says an officer stopped a vehicle in the 3,600 block of Second Street South around 11:25 p.m.

Authorities say 23-year-old Kodie Kelash of Rice was driving a vehicle that was reported stolen.

The vehicle also had stolen license plates. Kelash and his passenger, 24-year-old Nicholas Dougherty of St. Cloud were both taken to the Stearns County Jail.

Police say Kelash was arrested in connection with Stolen Property, Possession of Hypodermic Needles and an outstanding warrant.

Dougherty was taken into custody for outstanding warrants.
