Building, Two Semitrailers Destroyed in Paynesville Fire

PAYNESVILLE -- An early morning fire destroyed a building and two semitrailers in Paynesville yesterday (Sunday) morning.

Paynesville Fire Chief Bob Liestman says they arrived to Vissemen Trucking at about 8:30 a.m. to find the building on fire.

Liestman says one semitrailer had caught fire, jumped to second semitrailer, before catching the 40x20 foot storage structure on fire.

The building and semitrailers suffered extreme damage and no one was hurt.

Liestman says the cause of the fire is unknown and is under investigation by the state fire marshall.
