Budget Blinds Franchise Opens for St. Cloud Metro

ST. CLOUD - A new franchise specializing in residential and commercial window treatments has opened for the St. Cloud area.

Soon to be married (six weeks away) couple Casey Mitchell and Robbie Bohn moved from Grand Forks, North Dakota late last year to start a Budget Blinds in the St. Cloud metro. Mitchell says she got the idea from her parents, who own a franchise in the Brainerd area.

"We did some research along with my parents input and saw that Budget Blinds has a fantastic business model. We also knew the territory in St. Cloud was open."

Budget Blinds specializes in shutters, blinds, shades and drapes. Mitchell says they serve 13 zip codes in the greater St. Cloud metro.

"Any type of window treatments from blinds, shades, soft treatments, as well as shutters."

Mitchell says they started January 1st and have already started seeing steady business. They hope to take on another installer later this year.

"We're really getting our feet wet, we hope to be as busy as we can and add to our team as it's needed."
