Brooklyn Park Man Hurt In Crash Near Clearwater

CLEARWATER - A Brooklyn Park man has been taken to St. Cloud Hospital after crashing his car early this (Wednesday) morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 20-year-old Joseph Gitenya was heading west on Interstate 94 when he lost control. He went through the median and crashed into the guardrail around a bridge support.

It happened near Highway 24 in Clearwater at about 1:45 a.m.

His injuries are listed as non life threatening.
