Bridget Templin, age 98, of Foley, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the Heritage of Foley Nursing Center.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Gilman. The Rev. Leo Moenkedick will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery. Lunch will follow the burial at Mr. Jims in Foley.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 11 AM Wednesday at the church in Gilman. Service with Dignity provided by the Foley Funeral Home.

Bridget Templin was born October 7, 1917 in Alberta Township, Benton County to John and Mary (Robak) Deppa. She married Edward Templin in 1933 at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She lived and farmed with her husband in Alberta Township all of her life. She enjoyed baking, cooking and gardening. Bridget was a fun loving person who liked to visit and spend time with family and friends. She never asked for anything and was always willing to help others. Bridget was considered the matriarch of the family and everyone knew she was the boss. She was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and a life member of the Christian Mothers. In-lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.

She is survived by her son and daughters; Marcel (Marion), Montana; Patricia (Steve) Payne, Idaho; Constance Jutz, Glencoe, 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward, daughter and son-in-law, Margie (Junior) Hennen; son, Dennis, daughter-in-law, Jean Templin; brother, Dominic Deppa; sisters, Priscilla Deppa and Sophie and granddaughters, Kim and Cathy.
