ST. CLOUD - A man is hurt after a shooting in a St. Cloud park on Thursday afternoon.

Police say they received reports of shots fired just after 12:30 p.m. at Central Park, which is near 29th Avenue North and 4 1/2 Street. Officers arrived and found a 33-year-old man with a gunshot wound.

Witnesses said five people were fighting before several shots were fired. Police say the suspect left the scene in a vehicle and has not been found. Others involved in the fight also left in several vehicles.

The victim was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Police believe all people involved in the fight knew each other and this wasn't a random shooting. There were no other injuries.

The Central Minnesota Violent Offenders Task Force is taking over the investigation.
