Brainerd Man Killed While Driving Scooter

BRAINERD - A 79-year-old Brainerd man was killed while riding his scooter.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened at about 5:15 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday) on Business Highway 371 in Brainerd.

James Strowbridge was attempting to make a left hand turn when he was struck by an SUV.

The driver of the SUV was not hurt.
