WILLMAR (AP) - Hundreds of relatives, neighbors and friends gathered at a cemetery in a western Minnesota city to say good-bye to two young boys whose bodies were found in a nearby lake hours earlier.

The bodies of 11-year-old Ahmed Hashi and 10-year-old Idris Hussein were recovered from Foot Lake in Willmar Tuesday night. The boys were fourth-graders at Kennedy Elementary School and had gone missed Tuesday afternoon. Family members say neither child could swim.

Relatives remembered the boys as bright, athletic and adventurous.

Sfter prayers at a local mosque Wednesday, the boys were laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery according to Islamic custom. They were placed in graves on the shore of the same lake were they were found.
