ST. CLOUD -- Finding activities for your children every summer can be tough. The Boys and Girls Club of Central Minnesota is looking to lighten the load on local parents.

Geri Bechtold is the Director of the Kidstop program, she says the program is large every year.

"We have between 700 - 800 kids a day throughout our sites, with construction in the schools, this summer it looks like we'll be down to twelve sites."

Bechtold says the program likes to take kids on as many field-trips as possible. Trips include a Rox game, Zoo trips, days at the St. Cloud Library, and many others including water parks.

There is a $10 registration fee and the daily fee for Kidstop is $25. Your kids are eligible to attend the summer before they start kindergarten.

The remaining open-house registration dates, locations, and times for the program are:

  • April 18 - Mississippi Heights - 2:00 p.m.
  • April 19 - Stride - 3:00 p.m.
  • April 20 - Oak Hill - 2:00 p.m.
  • April 26 - Madison - 2:00 p.m.
  • April 27 - Rocori - 2:45 p.m.
  • May 2 - Athlos - 3:30 p.m.
  • May 3 - Talahi - 2:00 p.m.
  • May 9 - Pine Meadow - 2:30 p.m.
  • May 10 - Oak Ridge - 2:00 p.m.

The $25 fee is only for the days your child attends the Boys and Girls Club.
