WAITE PARK -- Boy Scout Troop 20 will host their annual Christmas dinner tomorrow (Thursday) at St. Joseph's Church in Waite Park.

The dinner, which includes the traditional holiday cuisine of turkey, potatoes, dressing, and pie, goes from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is free to the public.

The troop's scoutmaster, Joe Cordie, says the dinner is put on the spread holiday cheer in people who either cannot afford their own dinner or have no one to celebrate with.

This year's dinner is the 29th for Cordie who has been involved with the annual event since the beginning.

Cordie says the dinner has a fun atmosphere and encourages anybody interested to attend.

Many people from business partners to volunteers help to make the annual dinner possible.

For him and for everybody involved, Cordie says that the dinner has become a meaningful yearly tradition.

Along with the dinner, there are other services provided by the volunteers - transportation to the dinner and the option of having the dinner delivered to those unable to leave their home.
