Boy Recovering After Snowmobile Accident

HOLDINGFORD -- The Stearns County Sheriff's Office was called to a snowmobile crash in Holding Township at about 1:50 p.m. today (Friday).

Deputies say there were three snowmobiles along County Road Three attempting to cross the road, when a 14-year-old boy from Holdingford drove his Arctic Cat snowmobile in front of a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Luke Doll from Holdingford.

The boy was treated by Holdingford Rescue and then taken to the St. Cloud Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. Doll was not hurt.

The crash is under investigation.
