DOVER, Minn. (AP) - Authorities say a 1-year-old boy has died more than a week after he fell into a tub of water in southeastern Minnesota.

The Olmsted County sheriff's office was called June 24 about a child not breathing in the town of Dover. A deputy arrived and took over performing CPR from the toddler's mother.

The child, identified as Lincoln Tews, was airlifted to Saint Marys Hospital in Rochester. Sheriff's Capt. Scott Behrns says the Southern Minnesota Regional Medical Examiner's office reported Sunday night the boy had died.

Investigators found the boy had been playing outside with his siblings.

When their mother called them inside, the 1-year-old did not return. After the mother asked where the boy was, a sibling went outside and found him in the tub.
