Bowlus Woman Hurt After Crashing into Ditch

ROYALTON - A Bowlus woman is hurt after spinning out on ice and crashing her car into a ditch earlier this (Saturday) morning.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened around 5:45 a.m. on Nature Road by the Mississippi River just west of Royalton.

Forty-one-year-old Samantha Lashinski of Bowlus was driving eastbound when she slid on ice an went into the ditch. Her car slid down a steep embankment and hit a tree.

Lashinski was taken to St. Gabriel's Hospital. The extent of her injuries are unknown at this time.
