Today, take part in an important event that could save a life.  St. Cloud Technical and Community College has partnered with local Bone Marrow recipient Greta Perske to host a Bone Marrow Registry Drive. Perske received a Bone Marrow Transplant in 2006 to fight a rare form of Leukemia, and wants to get the word out about how bone marrow donors can save lives.

Janet Steinkamp is Dean of Health Sciences and Human Services at SCTCC. She says the process of becoming a potential donor is pretty simple.

Steinkamp says interested individuals must be between the ages of 16 and 60 and be in good health. They hope to register between 100-200 people tomorrow. The drive will be from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the Commons at SCTCC.
