ST. LOUIS PARK (AP) — St. Louis Park authorities are investigating after a body wrapped in a bed sheet was found behind an industrial building.

The shrouded body was found shortly before noon Tuesday behind Angstrom Analytical Inc. and near railroad tracks.

There was no immediate word on what led to the death or the person's gender or age.

City spokesman Jamie Zwilling says there were no reports of suspicious activity before the body was discovered.

Zwilling says someone at the business called 911 to report what appeared to be a body next to the tracks.

Authorities are investigating the death as a crime and not as an accident or suicide, since the body was wrapped in a sheet.
