Body Recovered From Water In Lake Of Woods County

BAUDETTE (AP) - The Lake of the Woods Sheriff's Department says a body has been found in the water near the Canadian border.

Sheriff's officials would not comment on whether the body might be that of a third boater from Baudette, Keith Ayers, missing since last October.

The bodies of two other men, Justin Haugtvedt and Cody Ostendorf, were found shortly after their boat capsized on Lake of the Woods. The three men were last seen leaving Sunset Lodge on Oak Island on Oct. 2.

Their 16-foot boat was found capsized near Flag Island the next day.
