Body of St. Cloud Man Found in Little Rock Lake Area

SARTELL -- The body of a St. Cloud man was recovered on Saturday in the Little Rock Lake area.

The Minnesota State Patrol says 60-year-old Thomas John Theisen, was found in the water Saturday at about 8:30 p.m.

Theisen and Mary Stein of Kimball, were in a 1997 Ford Explorer when the vehicle hit a guard rail on U.S Highway 10 near Milepost 167 at about 11:30 p.m. Friday night.

Stein was driving the vehicle. Theisen was a passenger.  He fled the scene on foot.  The State Patrol Helicopter, and Benton County K-9 unit searched the area and found Theisen's body Saturday night.

The Benton County Sheriff's Department and the State Patrol is continuing to investigate the incident.

Stein's condition is unknown.
