Body Of Missing Northern Minnesota Man Found Frozen Under Porch

VIRGINIA (AP) - The body of a missing 41-year-old northern Minnesota man has been found frozen under the porch of a house.

Police say the body of Andrew Christopher Kanian of Virginia, Minn., was found Monday.

Kanian had been missing since Jan. 2. His body was found about a half-block from where he was last seen walking in Virginia.

Virginia Police Chief Dennis Benz says an investigation found that Kanian was intoxicated that evening and apparently crawled under the porch, fell asleep and froze.

An autopsy is pending. Foul play is not suspected.
