Body Of Man Recovered From St. Croix River

DENMARK TOWNSHIP (AP) - Authorities say the body of a man who apparently drowned has been recovered from the St. Croix River in Washington County.

The man was with his family at Point Douglas Park and Beach in Denmark Township when he went under water and failed to surface about 5 p.m. Sunday.

The man's body was found by divers about 6:30 p.m.
