CHISAGO CITY (AP) - Authorities in eastern Minnesota say a body pulled from a small lake is that of an Oakdale woman missing for five months.

The Chisago County sheriff's office says crews recovered the woman's body from the water Friday. The Anoka County medical examiner's office positively identified the body as that of Danielle Jelinek.

Jelinek was reported missing on Dec. 9 after she disappeared from a home in Chisago Lakes Township.

Sheriff Rick Duncan has said the last person to see Jelinek is a man family members describe as a friend with whom Jelinek had a past romantic relationship.

The sheriff's office says the investigation continues.
