Bobby Vee Art Exhibit to Debut this Weekend

ST. JOSEPH - Bobby Vee is known for his music.  But, what you may not know is that he's also a pretty good painter.

After years of quietly painting purely for enjoyment, he's finally debuting selected pieces of his work.  The Bobby Vee Art Exhibition will be today (Friday) through Sunday at the Satellite Gallery on Minnesota Street in St. Joseph.

Limited edition signed prints will be for sale.  Proceeds will go to the "Bobby Vee Foundation For the Arts".

The hours of the exhibit are: Today from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., tomorrow (Saturday) from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon until 4:00 p.m.

Bobby Vee recently retired after enjoying a career spanning 52 years.  He placed 38 hits on the Billboard Hot 100, and 14 in the Top 40.
