UNDATED - The National Weather Service has issued a Blizzard Warning in effect until midnight on Thursday.

High winds today will lead to blizzard conditions across much of western through southern Minnesota, with visibilities near zero possible.

In eastern Minnesota into western Wisconsin, wind speeds will be less but there will still be areas of blowing and drifting snow.

Temperatures will drop during the day today with single digits and teens by afternoon.

The strong winds will continue through this evening then gradually diminish overnight while temperatures plummet into the lower teens below zero. This will produce wind chills as low as 25 degrees below zero tonight.
