Blazer Track and Field Sets Three New Team Records on Saturday

COLLEGEVILLE – The Saint Benedict track and field team set three new school records during the CSB/SJU Quad on Saturday.

Allison Kosobud added a new record for the 800-meter, dropping three seconds off the previous record with a 2:14:00.

Valerie Clintsman posted a 7.95 in the 60-meter dash to break the 7.96 record set last season.

Mandy Witschen placed second in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.23, breaking the original record of 9.28

The Blazers won a total of nine events on the day and led the field with 220.0 points. Gustavus finished second with 133.0 points.

The Blazers will travel on Friday for the St. Olaf invite.
