Bishop Kettler To Host Local ‘Mass For Peace’ In Ferguson
ST. CLOUD - Bishop Donald Kettler of the Diocese of St. Cloud is holding a special Mass For Peace, in response to the recent events in Ferguson, Missouri.
The mass will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral in downtown St. Cloud.
The day after the grand jury decided not to indict police officer Darren Wilson, Bishop Kettler released a statement saying, "I was saddened to see the television images of violent actions perpetuated by some people in the wake of the grand jury's decision. Violence is never the answer."
