Big Lake Woman Hurt in I-94 Crash

ALBERTVILLE -- A Big Lake woman was hurt in a crash on interstate 94 early Friday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says the incident happened shortly before 6:00 a.m. near Albertville.

Fifty-seven-year-old Brenda Westphal was driving east on I-94 when she started to merge left, saw another vehicle in the left lane, over corrected and went into the right ditch, striking some tree branches.

Westphal was taken to the North Maple Grove Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
