Big Brothers Big Sisters Receives $25K Donation

ST. CLOUD -- A local foundation has awarded a sizable monetary donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota.

The Bernick Family Foundation donated $25,000 to support the relocation and renovation of a new office space for Big Brothers Big Sisters.

The relocation and renovation project titled "We Are On The Move" will allow Big Brothers Big Sisters to spend more resources on their mentoring programs.

The move also situates Big Brothers Big Sisters next to other youth-serving programs and amenities which will lead to more collaboration between the organizations.

The presenter of the check, Jason Bernick of the Bernick Family Foundation, served as a "Big Brother" in the program and recently reconnected with his "Little Brother."
