Bicyclist Cited After Crash in St. Cloud Intersection

ST. CLOUD - A biker received minor injuries after being hit by a car in an intersection.

St. Cloud Police officers were dispatched to 10th Avenue and St. Germain Street West on Sunday at about 7:30 p.m.

Upon investigation, they determined 33 year old Jennifer Metzger of St. Cloud was biking on the sidewalk of 33rd Avenue and exited the crosswalk to cross 10th Avenue. She collided with 19 year old Joshua Kenning of St. Cloud as he made a left turn onto St. Germain.

Metzger was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for apparent minor injuries. Metzger was cited for improper crossing of a roadway and no bike light.

Kenning did not receive a citation.
