Betty Lucille Stevens, 76, Princeton

Betty Lucille Stevens, 76, of Princeton, MN, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015, at the Princeton Elim Home.

Betty was born on March 7, 1939 in Princeton, MN the daughter of Lawrence and Bertha (Weidenaar) Bahlman. She grew up in the Princeton area and attended Princeton High School. Betty was united in marriage to Duane “Bill” Stevens on June 10, 1960, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Princeton and enjoyed fifty five years of marriage. Together they raised two sons, Bryan and Brook.

Betty thought the world of her family and especially loved being a grandma. She enjoyed country music, watching wrestling and was a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. Betty dedicated her life to the care of her home and family, and possessed a quiet and gentle strength in her valiant battle against cancer. For these things we will be forever grateful.

She is lovingly remembered by her husband of 55 years, Bill; sons Bryan (Cathy) Stevens and Brook Stevens; grandson Michael Stevens; sister Grace Kral; brother Billy (Helen) Bahlman; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and her parents. Hold close and reflect on your memories of her for they are treasures indeed.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery.
