Betsey E. Wredberg, 84, Princeton

February 24, 1931 - August 17, 2015

Betsey Elizabeth Wredberg, age 84, of Princeton, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 17, 2015 at the Princeton Elim Home.

She was born February 24, 1931 in Athens Township in Isanti County, MN, the daughter of Albin and Carrie (Collin) Fredrickson. Betsey graduated from Cambridge High School. She was united in marriage to Carl John Wredberg on June 13, 1953 at Weber Church in North Branch, MN. Betsey worked at Chisago Nursing Home, at Honeywell and also Control Data. She was a very faithful member at Weber Church where she taught Sunday School and was a part of the Women’s Circle. She took great pride in her Swedish heritage and studying her family’s genealogy was a favorite pastime of hers. She also enjoyed quilt making, crocheting, doing puzzles and crosswords, cooking and playing games. Above all else, she adored her family. She will be dearly missed.

Betsey is survived by her husband Carl; children Susan (Gerald) McGimpsey and James (Teresa) Wredberg; grandchildren, Matthew (Kristin) Amundson, Michelle Amundson, Jesse (Rachel) Wredberg and Tiffany (significant other Kyle Gardecki) Tomsky; great grandchildren, Shealynn and Ashton Wredberg and Braxton Gardecki; sisters-in-law Marilyn and Ruby; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Ernest (LouElla), Wilfred (Jewell), Robert and Martin.

Visitation will be held from 4-5PM on Friday, August 21, 2015 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton with a Memorial Service beginning at 5PM.

Arrangements entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton.

Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
