Bethlehem Lutheran Church Hosts International Women’s Day Event

ST. CLOUD -- International Women's Day is being celebrated today (Friday) all over the world.

St. Cloud Mayor, Dave Kleis proclaimed today as International Women's Day in our area to honor and celebrate all women.

Bethlehem Lutheran Church hosted a women's celebration. The event was filled with activities and speakers that shed light on women's accomplishments and also aimed to bring awareness to women's issues like domestic violence.

Over 50 people attended the event and were served a multi-cultural dinner. A silent auction was also held.

The event was sponsored by 14 organizations in St. Cloud including Central Minnesota Sexual Assault Center, League of Women Voters and Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force.
