Bethel Top St. John’s 27-22 to Close Season

The St. John’s football team ended the season with a 27-22 loss at Bethel on Saturday afternoon.  St. John’s trailed 17-13 at halftime and never led in the game.  Connor Bruns threw for 258 yards and 1 touchdown.  Rob Voshell had 3 catches for 29 yards and a touchdown and Josh Bungum led the Johnnies with 7 catches for 84 yards.  Harry Awe had a rushing touchdown for St. John’s Stephen Johnson led the team with 32 yards rushing.

Erik Peterson ran for 110 yards and a touchdown and threw for 267 yards for Bethel.  St. John’s closes the season with a 5-5 record overall and 3-5 mark in the MIAC.
