ST. CLOUD -- The Bernick Family Foundation awarded more than $150,000 in grants to build projects for youth through the Central Minnesota Community Foundation.

The award includes a $25,000 grant to build a climbing wall at Clara's House. It's an organization that helps struggling children and teens with mental health and addiction.

An additional $35,000 grant will be awarded to the Boys and Girls Club of Morrison County to build a new facility in Little Falls.

The Duluth Area Family YMCA is set to receive $30,000 for the Camp Miller Second Century project. Six other organizations will split the remaining $70,000 award.

The Waite Park based business is family owned and has a tradition of donating to more than 100 local organizations each year.
