Bernice Renata (Hamann) Moody, 85, of Princeton, MN, died Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton following a brief illness.

Bernice was born October 7, 1929, in Princeton. She was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church, Princeton, where she was a lifelong member. Bernice was united in marriage to Gerald B. Moody on October 28, 1951, at Zion Lutheran Church and enjoyed over fifty years of marriage.

Bernice thought the world of her family. She enjoyed reading, playing the organ, bass fishing at the cabin near Mille Lacs Lake, gardening, sewing and playing cards. She loved watching humming birds and cardinals; and her cat Trixer. Bernice especially loved traveling with Gerald to Mexico and taking local road trips in the Princeton area.

Family members include her daughters, Linda (Steve) Jankowski of Cloquet and Lois (Wes) Kiel of Princeton; two sons Gary (Diane) and Fred (Mary Jo) both of Princeton; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; many friends and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald on August 5, 2004, her parents Fred and Hattie Hamann and an infant brother.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church in rural Princeton. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
