Bernice M. Villcheck, 89, Sartell

May 23, 1927 - December 11, 2016

Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Bernice M. Villcheck, age 89 of Sartell will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell with visitation one hour prior to services. Reverend Timothy Baltes will officiate. Interment will be in the parish cemetery.

Arrangements are with Daniel Funeral Home, Sartell.

Bernice was born on May 23, 1927 in Le Sauk Township, Stearns County, MN to Anton and Mary (Then) Traut. She married John B. Villcheck Jr. on October 9, 1947 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sartell. Besides raising six children, she worked for Fingerhut. Bernice loved nature, dancing, painting/drawing and collecting dolls. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Parish and St. Monica’s Christian Women.

She is survived by her children Sheila (Gary) Langer of Medina, John (Lois) Villcheck III of Sartell, Keith (Arlene) Villcheck of Sartell, Bonnie Gallaty of Waite Park, Jim (Karen) of Kerrville, Texas and Thomas Villcheck of Wayzata; special nephew Rick Traut, 16 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Rita Traut of Sartell and Edna Dickinson of Sauk Rapids along with many nieces and nephews.

Bernice was preceded in death by her husband John B. Villcheck Jr., parents, infant sister Delores, brothers Eugene Traut and twin Bernard Traut, sisters Irene Mehr, Lucille Schreiner and grandson John Mark Villcheck IV.
