Bernice Larsen, age 95, of Princeton, MN, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2014 at the Princeton Elim Home. She was born on December 10, 1918, in Bogus Brook Township, the daughter of Gustave and Freda (Lueck) Kuhrke. She was confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church. Bernice was united in marriage to Bernard E. Larsen and to this union two children were born. Bernice worked for 23 years at the Princeton Co-op Grocery as a clerk. She then worked at the Princeton Hospital in housekeeping for 25 years, retiring at 76 years of age. After retirement Bernice did volunteer work at the Food Shelf, Clothing Center, Trinity Lutheran Church and the Hospital Auxiliary. Bernice was a huge Twins fan and loved to play cards and dance.

Bernice is survived by her children, Brenda (Frank) Fay of Huntersville, NC, and Tad (Darcee) Larsen of Princeton; grandchildren Amy (Rob) Duff and Brian Fay, all of Huntersville, NC; great-granddaughter Audrey Duff; nieces Marlene Wilhelm and Grace Bisso; and nephew Tom Kuhrke.

She was preceded in death by Bernard Larsen; her parents; sister Irene Bisso and brother Lloyd Kuhrke.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Princeton. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM, Wednesday, August 27, at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home in Princeton, as well as one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Interment will be in Oak Knoll Cemetery.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Princeton, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Trinity Endowment Fund.
