Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN for Bernadine Meyer, age 99, who died Tuesday at Assumption Home in Cold Spring. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond. Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will continue from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m., Saturday morning at the funeral home.

Bernie was born in St. Martin, MN to Peter Sr, and Anna (Stroeing) Doll. She worked as a cook for Tony Nierenhausen, Leo Steinhagen and Jerry Dols. Bernie then worked as a seamstress for Fingerhut and Wonderall Companies until her retirement in 1979. She enjoyed cards, gardening, quilting, sewing, bingo and going to the casino. Bernie was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Christian Women and St. Theresa Mission Group.

Survivors include her children, Irma (Dennis) Korte, Charles “Chas” (Vicki) Meyer, Donna (Joe) Salzer, Marilyn (Lee) Thomes, Michael “Mitch” (Beth) Meyer, Jean Novak; siblings, Peter (Jenny) Doll, Anna Schulte; 16 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Meyer; infant son, John and son-in-law, Don Novak.
