Benton Narrows List of County Attorney Candidates to Five

FOLEY -- Benton County has chosen five finalists to interview for their vacant county attorney position.

County Administrator Monty Headley says they had eight total applicants and have advanced five of those to be interviewed in July.

The finalists are,

Assistant Benton County Attorneys Bill Faerber , Michelle Meyer and Kathleen Reuter. The remaining two finalists are Lake of the Woods County Attorney Phillip Miller and Matt Franzese who is the County Attorney for Traverse County.

Interviews will take place on July 8th, and July 11th.

Headley says they hope to forward the recommended candidate to the county board after the interviews on the 11th. The county board would then take up the issue at their July 23rd meeting.
