Benton County Seeking Volunteers For Sandbagging

WATAB TOWNSHIP -- Benton County is looking for volunteers to help fill sandbags.

The hours for filling sandbags are tomorrow (Wednesday) through Friday from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

All volunteers should first check-in at the Watab Township Hall.

If you're able to help, you can sign-up by going to the website unitedwayhelps.org or call 211.

Benton County residents who live in the 100-year floodplain can also get their free sand and sandbags during the same hours.  You also must first check-in at the Watab Town Hall.
