Bemidji Police Investigate Death of 4-Year-Old

BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) - Bemidji police are investigating the death of a 4-year-old child.

Police, firefighters and an ambulance crew were called to a home in Bemidji Thursday morning. Emergency workers performed CPR on the child, who was taken to a Bemidji hospital. But efforts to revive the 4-year-old were unsuccessful.

Police say the death appears to be accidental but is under investigation. The child's name was not released.
