BEMIDJI, Minn. (AP) - Prosecutors have charged a Bemidji man with kidnapping a 5-year-old girl who was found in a camper in the northern Minnesota woods last week.

Thirty-two-year-old Jacob Kinn was charged Monday with felony kidnapping.

Kinn was arrested after the girl went missing following a mobile home fire in Bemidji. Fire crews were called early Wednesday and found a woman's body in the debris.

Another woman later arrived and said her daughter had been staying with a family friend in the mobile home. The investigation led authorities to Kinn, who came in for questioning.

Reports say investigators took Kinn's cellphone and found his signal had pinged off a cell tower near Bigfork. Agents drove to the property and found the girl in the camper, restrained with duct tape.
