Belgrade Man Stabbed in Early Morning Assault
BELGRADE -- A Belgrade man was taken to the hospital after receiving multiple stab wounds early this (Tuesday) morning.
Stearns County Sheriff John Sanner says deputies responded to a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of Martin Avenue in Belgrade shortly after 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, they saw two men actively fighting in the home.
An unnamed 38-year-old man had been stabbed multiple times, including one wound that struck a lung. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
The other man, 41-year-old Bradley Michels of Belgrade, was taken to Stearns County Jail and faces charges of first and second degree assault.
The incident is still under investigation.
