BUFFALO -- A Belgrade man was hurt in a head on crash in Buffalo earlier this (Wednesday) evening.

The state patrol says the crash happened shortly before 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 55 and Main Street.

Nineteen-year-old Reed Kuhlman of Clearwater was traveling westbound in the outside lane on Highway 55. Kuhlman attempted to merge into the inside lane and collided with a car driven by 55-year-old Ronald Gittins of Buffalo.

The collision caused Kuhlman's car to enter oncoming traffic in the eastbound lanes where he collided with an SUV driven by 59-year-old James Anderson of Belgrade. Anderson suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Kuhlman, Gittins, and Gittin's passenger, 57-year-old Renee Gittins of Buffalo, were not hurt in the crash.
