Behind the Scenes: Building Up The Brand at St. Cloud Subaru [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -- This week in our "Behind the Scenes" series on WJON, we see what goes into renovating a former toy store into the new home of a local car dealership.

After nine years in the same small location, St. Cloud Subaru is moving on up to bigger and better things just down the road.

"It's a great location to be in. We didn't want to be on the edge of town after being in the middle of town, and this place fit all our needs." says Scott Bement.

The new 30,000 square foot building not only comes with top of the line utilities, but better space for customer interaction.

"We are pretty excited about our sales desk being right in the middle. You can see both sides of the lot and the entrances when customers come in," says Bement.

Owner Scott Bement really wanted to enhance the customer experience, so he added three different waiting rooms and put a strong focus on express services.

"We are putting up high speed lifts, training a team of express oil change personal so when you come in we can get you in and out in under thirty minutes," says Bement.

He says the service are will have glass doors to allow for more natural light and customer viewing. The new facility also has room to expand.

"When we expand to the next level we can increase about 4,000 square feet in our shop," says Bement.

Bement says once it's completed the new building will add about 10 new jobs, and they hope to be fully operational in the facility by the end of October.
