ST. CLOUD -- St. Cloud beer lovers the wait is finally over.

The Beaver Island Brewing Company is ready to serve you this weekend with the opening of their tap room.

"We are finally ready to swing the doors, bring people in and serve them some of our beer," says Co-founder Matt Studer.

Studer says its been a long journey to get to this point, but it's rewarding to see their hard work pay off.

"We got the pilot system going so we could build up those recipes so we could test them out and adjust them a few times until we felt we got them right and then went out to market with them," says Studer.

Beaver Island Brewing has been brewing beer since December and will officially open the tap room tomorrow (Saturday).

Studer says the decor in the tap room will bring a little bit of St. Cloud's past into the future.

"It really turned out well, we salvaged things from around the community and put them up on the walls or build furniture out of them," says Studer.

He says he is excited to see the public's reaction to their hard work and hopes the tap room becomes a local hot spot in the St. Cloud area.

"So get here early and enjoy yourself because we are excited to get people in here," says Studer.

Beaver Island Brewing will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00 p.m. tomorrow to officially open the tap room.

Tap room hours will be 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
