BBB Encourages You to Shop Local On Small Business Saturday

ST. CLOUD -- The fourth annual Small Business Saturday kicks off tomorrow (Saturday). Small Business Saturday is designed to support local businesses during Thanksgiving weekend.

The Better Business Bureau of Minnesota is encouraging you to participate by shopping local. The bureau is working with American Express OPEN to get the word out about some of the free marketing tools offered online.

Small Business Saturday partners include the United Postal Service, Fed the Ex Office, Twitter and Foursquare.

They are offering free signage, shipping and advertisements for participating businesses.

American Express is also giving their card members a chance to get a $10 statement credit to use at qualifying small business locations. You must pre-register for the $10 credit online.
