SARTELL - Seniors, you can learn how to lower your risk of becoming a victim of a scam. The Better Business Bureau is partnering with A-A-R-P Minnesota and the Minnesota Elder Justice Center for a program called "Central Minnesota Scam Jam". It's Wednesday at The Grands at Mulligan in Sartell.

The free event is aimed at teaching seniors and caregivers about scams.

Topics include: "Trends in Fraud and Identity Theft", "Victim Profiling and How to Scam-proof your Life", and "Financial Exploitation" within Families".

The program runs from 8:30 a.m. until noon. You can pre-register online.
