Barbara L. Grile, Sauk Rapids, 73

September 12, 1940 - July 24, 2014

Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids for Barbara L. Grile, age 73, who passed away Thursday at Talahi Senior Campus in St. Cloud. Rev. Kristen Anderson will officiate and entombment will be at Hilltop Mausoleum, Sauk Rapids. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services.

Barbara was born Sept. 12, 1940 in Belview, MN to Glen & Margrite (Patton) Perry. She married Merrill “Mel” Grile on July 16, 1960. Barbara worked as a ward stenographer at the St. Cloud VA Medical Center. She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud. Barbara was a happy go lucky, kind hearted person. She was an avid reader who loved books, playing with her dog, and being with family.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Mel of Sauk Rapids; son, Perry (Cindy) of Sauk Rapids; sister, Donna (Ted) Willenbring of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Eric (Katie) Zintek and Jonathan Zintek; and great grandchildren, Ben and Brayden. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Donna in 2013; and infant daughter, Sara.
