ST. JOSEPH - Bad Habit Brewing Company is coming soon to downtown St. Joseph.

The brewery is remodeling a space in the Mill Stream Shops at 15 East Minnesota Street. Owner Aaron Rieland says they're planning to open in September or October. Bad Habit Brewing will feature a rotating tap of hand crafted beers.

"We're planning four to five beers on tap, just a rotating tap and we'll probably have a couple that will be our flagship brews."

The tap room will have seating for up to 50 people. Rieland says they want to emphasize feedback from guests on what beers to try.

"Our big push is to really get the local community involved in letting us know what they want and different beer styles to try and then allow us to experiment with that."

Bad Habit Brewing Company will be open Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Rieland says if things get busier and there's a demand, they will open Thursday night as well.

No food will be served at the brewery but customers will be allowed to bring food in. Rieland says they're also working to team up with local restaurants to allow guests to order food to the brewery from local restaurants.
