Awareness Campaign Has Participants Seeing Red [PHOTOS]

St. CLOUD – Students and staff at St. Cloud State University dressed in red shirts — and in one case a red cape — to raise awareness about womens heart disease.
Participants walked the Husky Dome today (Friday) for the kick-off to the 10 week spring “SCSU On The Move” challenge.
Heart Disease is the number one killer of women, taking the life of 1 in 3 women each year, compared to 1 in 30 women who are affected by breast cancer.
Officials say 80 percent of cardiac events in women may be prevented through diet, exercise and being smoke-free.
