Autopsy Reveals Wylie Died From Gunshot, Authorities Continue Investigation

BENTON COUNTY — Investigators continue to ask for your help with information related to the death of Jamie Wylie.

Wylie’s body was found on March 25th on the side of County Road 75 between Mayhew Lake Road and East St. Germain Street in Benton County.

He was reported missing in December.

Preliminary autopsy results found that Wylie death was homicide due to a gunshot wound.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension continues to investigate his death.

Benton County officials are asking anyone with information regarding his death or suspicious activity related to the homicide to contact the Benton County Sheriff’s Office at (320) 968-7201 or Tri-County Crime Stoppers at (800) 255-1301, www.tricountycrimestoppers.org, or by texting TRITIP to 274637.
